Up for auction is Japan by Yamin Young. This is a classic Young serigraph that is one of four pieces that make up Young's city suite. We have all four serigraphs in stock while they last including Paris, New York, Japan, and the hardest to find, Hawaii. Each serigraph is approximately 15" by 12.5" with no margins on hand deckled paper. All of these are not numbered & were printed outside the edition of 1401. Each is hand signed by the artist. About the Artist: Yamin Young was born in 1959 in the city of <>Shanghai, China. He was a child of eight when the Cultural Revolution began. At the age of seven he had already won international honors in West Germany for his art.
Yamin's father was a sea captain and his mother was a professor at the Suzhou Art Institute. Suzhou is a traditional art center and is known as the Venice of the East. He developed his deep interest in art from his mother. His bold creativity was an inheritance from his father. Yamin's awareness of the world of art burst upon him when his father presented a painting to the little boy which he had brought home from Europe.

Artwork will be professionally shipped and packed with care. We normally ship UPS Ground domestically and USPS internationally. If the buyer wants us to ship to a PO Box we will ship via USPS with a tracking number and insurance, however, if the item is lost we will file all paperwork for the Post Office to investigate, but we will will not take any financial responsibility if the item is not received. International Buyers ? Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up ? do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
